A young Moosilaukee Jack Beagle flying low on his way back to his typewriter. His favorite pastime was running through the scrub fir on top of Moosilauke, looking for rodents or something to roll in.

Bob Averill, the creative force behind Moose Country Press and MtMoosilauke.com. Trying not to hit his fingers. That must be either a privy or a woodshed that he's building?

Jack Noon doing what he loves best; trying to coax a wily trout out of the Baker River. Author of numerous historical fictions and non-fictions.

Bill Morse, born at the foot of Moosilauke almost 95 years ago, master storyteller of life in the North Country, summers at the Moosilauke Tip Top House, and the heyday of old-style logging camps. His two books are A Country Life and A Mix of Years.

Special Note: Bill Morse passed away at age 95 and a half on March 31, 2000. His written stories are his legacy to those who follow him on the mountain.

Linda and Lisa of Enfield Distribution keep all the Moose Country books and prints in order, and still have time to produce some world-class
